It's A Girl!

So I had a doctor appointment this morning and it was originally going to be a quick check-up. But as she was looking at my chart she said it was time for the morphology ultrasound and inquired if there was a cancellation so they could fit me in this morning. Sure enough! A woman was scheduled but she had her baby this morning so I was able to see the ultasound tech. The morphology is great; she checked the organs as well as the length of the femur and humerus bones. The baby is at 18 weeks and is about 5 inches in length (crown to rump). In this first picture you can see the profile of the head and the chest.

Drake didn't want to come to the doctor appointment this morning, he wanted to go to preschool. Which is fine with me, but he missed the ultrasound. We asked the technition to take a picture of the spine for Drake because after the last appointment Drake wanted to show his friends a picture of the baby's bones.

And last but not least is the picture proving it's a girl. The arrow is pointing to the three bumps between her legs that indicate it's a girl. I remember that on Drake, the middle bump was alot longer.
So that's my news! We are so happy and have already started making decorating plans, and mentally going through our inventory to see if we need anything.
