Big Shoes & Trucks

Daddy bought new shoes and Drake was trying them on in this first picture. Drake has started repeating words. He said his first swear word about a week ago. Daddy said sh*t and Drake copied. My husband didn't make a big deal about it and Drake hasn't said the word since. He says please now. He'll come up to you while you are eating, grab a french fry off your plate and say "peas", then munch on it. It's very cute. He says thank you a lot, it sounds like "deedoh". He can say so many words now! He says shoes, slippers, sippy, dragon, einstines, the list goes on...

Drake likes to line things up. This second picture is of Drake lining up his trucks on the coffee table. He lines them up like train cars too.

So Drake's second birthday is coming up. He picked out the theme: Tonka Trucks. It will be fun! You know your life revolves around your child when the only party you host for one year is your child's birthday party! Growing up, I never imagined myself with a child, but now I love being a mother.
